Terry Fox Run
Students had a great time showing their support for the Marathon of Hope and Terry Fox! It was an absolutely beautiful day for a lap around the course! Our school managed to raise $570.00!

Infectious Diseases
In health, students have learned about how infectious diseases are contracted and what we can do to protect ourselves! Students researched infectious diseases with a partner and found remedies that will enable us to get back to our healthy self!

Science- Respiratory System
Today in grade 5 science we made a lung out of every day supplies! This lung showcased how our diaphragm plays a major role in how we breath, and helps our lungs expand and contract! Ask your child how this works or make one at home together! (ps- we used tape instead of clay)

Word Work - Homophones
In Word Work, we have been reviewing homophones! Homophones are words that sound the same but have a different meaning and spelling pattern. Students worked with a partner today to create mini posters for our Homophone bulletin board.

Continents- Social Studies
Before we can begin our journey through Canada (gr 5) and Saskatchewan (gr 4), we must have an understanding of our world, and where we fit in the grand scheme of things! Students have been reviewing the continents and oceans in our world! They really enjoy challenging themselves with this interactive Smartboard game.

Colour Wheel- Arts Ed
Arts Ed has begun by reviewing the colours taught in grades 3 and 4 (primary, secondary and tertiary). From here, we will learn about hues and warm and cool colours!
